Managing Quantity Surveyor

• Lead the commercial management of multiple infrastructure projects across the framework
• Manage and mentor commercial teams, supporting development and maintaining high performance
• Ensure accurate CVRs, cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow management
• Oversee subcontract procurement, administration and final account negotiations
• Manage NEC contracts, commercial risk and change control
• Produce commercial reports and provide financial updates to senior leadership
• Maximise commercial performance whilst protecting contractual entitlement
• Develop strong relationships with clients, consultants and the supply chain
• Support commercial strategy and continuous improvement across the framework
• Ensure commercial governance and best practice is maintained throughout project delivery.

• Previous experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor operating at a leadership level
• Strong background delivering civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure projects
• Excellent working knowledge of NEC contracts
• Experience managing commercial teams and multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong financial reporting, forecasting and commercial management skills
• Ability to build relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Professional membership or working towards chartership would be advantageous.
