Job Description

At Ten10, our Managing Principal Consultants are the engine room of our delivery excellence and the face of our technical brand. This is a high-impact, dual-aspect role designed for a senior practitioner who excels at building effective and trusted partnerships with clients, steering complex, multi-workstream engagements while simultaneously acting as a thought leader in the wider testing market. You will be accountable for the full engagement lifecycle, from shaping pre-sales solutions to ensuring quality portfolio delivery. Beyond the project, you are a storyteller and advocate, confident in public speaking and active in the testing community to bring awareness to Ten10’s brand through events, networking, and digital content.

Job Responsibility

  • Build long-standing, trusted relationships with Ten10’s clients big and small
  • be the point of continuity for Ten10 clients
  • Tailor Ten10 services and solutions to deliver value to our customers and exceed their expectations
  • Provide oversight to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations
  • support and mentor Ten10 Project Leads to resolve delivery issues before they escalate
  • Be the senior escalation point for the client
  • Determine the required skills and team composition
  • Work with the wider Ten10 team to balance delivery quality with individual career development and commercial drivers
  • Partner with the Ten10 Sales team to qualify technical requirements and structure projects that effectively resolve client problem statements
  • Set the standard for pre-sales conversations, leveraging your deep technical expertise to build immediate trust with prospective stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and qualify opportunities for extensions and scope expansions within your existing portfolio
  • Represent Ten10 at industry conferences, webinars, and roundtables
  • Maintain an active presence in the test and quality market
  • Leverage your professional network to identify new workstreams and stay ahead of industry trends to inform our service offerings

Requirements

  • Proven track record in successful programme and project delivery as well as delivery management, managing multiple concurrent workstreams with strategic responsibility
  • Deep expertise in Testing and Quality Engineering, allowing you to provide genuine technical direction and challenge project assumptions
  • Confident public speaker who enjoys sharing knowledge
  • Enjoy empowering your team, helping them navigate their career paths while maintaining high performance for the client

  • Risk Management: Facilitate migration readiness assessments, interpret guardrail results, and recommend actionable remediations (i.e. SQL-based analysis, app remediations, automation deltas, workflow redesign)
  • Technical Architecture: Understand and communicate the role of APIs, webhooks, and automation components in customer environments — explaining how they translate to Cloud and what requires refactor or replacement
  • Trusted Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and other technical executives, guiding decision-making through data-backed insights
  • Delivery Excellence: Govern the migration lifecycle through disciplined execution, measurable outcomes, and coordination with support & engineering teams — from discovery to UAT completion and go-live
  • Drive Accountability: Drive team accountability through clearly defined milestones, transparent reporting, proactive risk management and optimal resourcing
  • Stakeholder Management: Lead all project communications, plan reviews, and steering committee to guide project direction. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to advocate for the team and meet customer objectives
  • Escalation Management: Act as the escalation point for customers to drive urgency on critical blockers during migrations
  • Team Leadership: Mentor peers on technical literacy and lead internal enablement efforts, including training workshops and playbook development. Model a consultative, data-driven mindset expected of Atlassian’s delivery leaders
