FMC HR is looking for a Managing Director for the Turkish subsidiary of our German client; a global leader in advanced rubber-metal solutions for critical infrastructure, including buildings and bridges. With 140 employees in Türkiye, this Izmir-based role drives P&L ownership for the production facility, reporting directly to HQ's Managing Director. This is a high-impact leadership role offering the opportunity to shape the future of a key subsidiary within a respected international group. You will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, strengthening organizational capability, and delivering measurable business results.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the Türkiye site end-to-end, serving as the bridge between local operations and HQ strategy
Take full ownership of financial performance, driving sustainable profitability and growth
Lead restructuring and cost optimisation through lean management and continuous improvement
Elevate product quality, production reliability, and delivery performance
Build high-performance teams through motivation and development
Co-develop local strategy in alignment with global HQ direction
Enhance governance, compliance, and transparency across all functions
Introduce a robust financial project controlling framework and oversee ERP transition
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering required (preferably Mechanical or Civil)
MBA is an asset
Executive leadership experience in the manufacturing industry, rubber sector preferred
Demonstrated success in restructuring, change management and cost optimization
Experience in international organizations with cross-border HQ reporting
Fluent in Turkish and English
German is a strong asset
A hands-on, results-driven leader with the ability to inspire, challenge, and develop teams
High level of resilience, ownership, and commercial acumen
