Requirements

You MUST have a proven track record as a Managing Director or General Manager – specifically with current or recent experience of managing a UK Sales & Service office, or a manufacturer of food process &/or packaging machinery
You will have a deep understanding of the UK food processing / manufacturing sector
You will have had previous experience and a track record of success of both sales management and sales of food process & packaging machinery to the food industry
You will be a ‘hands on’ leader with excellent attention to detail skills, and you will be a driven and a strategic thinker
Any business management or relevant technical qualifications would also be advantageous

At least 5 years of experience as a Managing Director of a business worth £200m+
Demonstrable experience of managing multiple support functions simultaneously, including Sales, Operations, Finance, HR, Communications, Supply Chain and Technical
Must have managed a P&L of more than £150m
Track record of growing a business and revenue portfolio preferably in the Construction Rental Equipment sector
Previous experience in Material Handling, Access Equipment or Cranes
