Act as the primary point of contact for the firm's top-tier clients, managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals and closely-held businesses
Lead tax planning meetings with business owners to provide strategic insights and demonstrate value beyond compliance
Oversee the technical review and quality control of complex tax filings, including forms 1120S, 1065, 1041, and high-net-worth individual returns
Collaborate with the Accounting Supervisor to maintain an efficient review pipeline during peak tax seasons
Provide expert consulting on tax controversies, mergers and acquisitions, and succession planning
Work closely with firm leadership to modernize pricing strategies and enhance client retention policies
Mentor and guide staff on technical tax updates and best practices
Assume responsibility for the firm's profitability and overall performance, including profit and loss oversight
Requirements
A minimum of 7 years of experience in tax and accounting, ideally within public accounting
CPA designation is required, demonstrating advanced expertise in tax and accounting practices
Strong knowledge of corporate tax returns, including forms 1120S, 1065, and individual tax filings such as 1040
Proven ability to manage complex client engagements and foster strong client relationships
Expertise in tax planning, entity formation, and annual income tax provisions
Experience with tax software such as CCH and proficiency in full-cycle accounting
Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills, with a focus on team development
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, particularly in high-level consulting scenarios
