WongDoody is seeking an exceptional, forward‑thinking Managing Director, North America, to serve as the strategic engine behind our new business and client expansion efforts across the region. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping how the agency engages the market, develops long‑term commercial relationships, and grows our footprint among category‑leading brands.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of scaling an agency practice or leading significant business expansion within a creative, design, or digital consultancy environment, including managing or contributing to a business or division in the $150M–$200M range
  • MBA or master’s degree in digital marketing, advertising, business, or a related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including 3–5 years of previous digital agency experience and diverse, varied client experience (required)
  • Demonstrated success as a senior new business leader, ideally within an advertising, design, or digital transformation environment
  • start‑up or high‑growth organizational experience preferred
  • Deep fluency across digital creative ecosystems — including connected brand experiences, integrated campaigns, multi‑platform storytelling, CX/UX, data‑driven creativity, and emerging technologies
  • Exceptional communication, relationship‑building, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence C‑suite decision‑makers and cross‑functional teams
  • A proactive, high‑energy personality marked by resilience, curiosity, and a bias toward action
  • A deep appreciation for creativity, design, technology, and the evolving nature of human experience
  • Proximity to a WongDoody studio is required (NY, LA, SEA)
  • San Francisco is acceptable as well
