Job Description:

The Managing Director, US role is a key senior leadership position within Institutional Clients Group (ICG). The person in this role will have responsibility as a senior stakeholder and Global Relationship Banker (GRB) covering ICG clients based in the Americas as part of a mixed portfolio. This role is expected to interact extensively with clients, sales teams, management teams, Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) businesses and product partners to drive business forward.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver sustainable and profitable growth for Institutional Clients
Create an inclusive and customer-centered culture across the region
Provide valuable market and sector-related insight to both internal and external stakeholders
Proactively develop an understanding of the clients’ business needs and identify solutions
Work with teams to implement client plans and strategies
Drive customer satisfaction and cost containment
Drive collaboration with other internal coverage teams
Understand all products and services and collaborate with key product and business partners
Be accountable for financial and non-financial risk
Deliver fair outcomes for our customers
Manage risk within the Firm’s appetite
Ensure strong risk assessment, the required credit quality and requisite returns on risk
Lead the conduct and culture agenda
Operate within the spirit and letter of internal and external regulations, laws, and policies.

Requirements:

Have the ability to empower and motivate high performing teams
Strong understanding of macro-trends and latest industry developments within the sector
Knowledge of capital markets in Americas
Extensive client relationships and proven relationship management skills with global clients
Strong risk management skills and a good understanding of credit and financial crime risk management as well as operational risk
Able to lead and influence senior stakeholder groups to achieve desired outcome
Able to drive change and be an effective sponsor that can support, follow up and challenge
Communicate effectively to update senior management and inspire the team
Be flexible with good time management
FINRA: SIE, series 7, 24, 63 and 79
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
