Job Description:

The Corporate Sales Unit Head manages multiple teams through other managers. In-depth understanding of how own sub-function contributes to achieving the objectives of the function. Requires thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas. Responsible for executing functional strategy in area managed. Accountable for end results, budgeting, planning, policy formulation and contribution to future strategy of the area(s). Impact reflects size of team managed, strategic influence on the business and interaction with other functions or businesses.

Job Responsibility:

  • manage the sales initiatives of a specified client group
  • responsible for originating, structuring and executing multi-asset derivative solutions for corporate clients
  • partner very closely with respective internal coverage groups, product groups regionally and globally
  • grow a consistent profitable business platform with respective clients
  • build senior level relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, Risk Managers, Treasurers and Assistant Treasurers
  • grow the sales flow business from the current level
  • help overall Sales team execute on formulated plan to grow revenues and increase share of wallet
  • foster an environment of collaboration through interfacing with appropriate internal partners
  • provide best suited solutions in full coordination with all relevant business partners
  • build and develop a platform for clients
  • work in close partnership with control functions
  • build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
  • appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience, including 10+ years' managerial experience
  • proven influencing and relationship management skills
  • have a good understanding and experience of electronic platforms and corporate risk management
  • knowledge of CRM systems
  • experience in sales process and best practices
  • ability to work in high pressure situations
