As a Management Consultant in the Workforce & Organisation practice, specifically in Workforce Transformation, you’ll work with clients across a broad range of industries from Financial Services to Retail, Life Sciences, Telecommunications, and Energy & Utilities. Your role will involve helping organisations tackle critical challenges related to current and future skills, talent strategies, workplace culture, and the impact of technology and automation on the future of work. You’ll be part of a collaborative team of problem solvers with diverse consulting and industry experience, supporting clients from strategy through to execution. Together, you’ll help them navigate complex business issues and deliver meaningful, lasting change.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with clients to shape workforce strategies that address skills gaps, talent development, organisational culture, and the impact of emerging technologies
  • Influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams through change, fostering collaboration, capability building, and sustainable outcomes
  • Deliver complex, large-scale workforce transformation programmes across sectors, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives
  • Design and implement future-focused workforce strategies that respond to evolving organisational goals, skills requirements, and employee expectations
  • Support the adoption of new ways of working that enhance employee experience, wellbeing, and performance across diverse teams
  • Lead/contribute to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events
  • Lead campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development
  • Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

Requirements

  • A background in consulting, either currently in a consulting firm or having transitioned from industry with prior consulting experience
  • Experience in energy & utilities, defence, financial services and consumer products is advantageous
  • Ability to thrive in a matrixed environment, gaining buy-in from peers to sell and deliver impactful solutions
  • Experience in business development, including leading or supporting bids, proposals, and deal structuring
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering consulting propositions
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and share informed perspectives on workforce trends and challenges
  • Experience leading large-scale workforce transformation programmes, delivering measurable outcomes and identifying opportunities for continued engagement
  • Capability in managing teams and multiple workstreams in complex delivery settings, while contributing to practice growth and mentoring junior colleagues
  • Proven experience in one or more key areas of expertise: technology-enabled people transformation initiatives with experience across people strategy, skills based organisation, workforce skilling strategies, competency frameworks, digital skills academies, learner experience, learning management systems
  • Deep understanding of leveraging technology and AI for key workforce interventions such as workforce and DEI strategies, learning, up/reskilling, culture interventions, hybrid working policies and target operating models, and organisational design
  • Delivered a range of workforce & people transformation projects and solutions with experience of working on complex people datasets and models, people analytics tools, workforce planning tools and business intelligence tools
  • Managing end-to-end organisational culture transformation programmes, including those linked to new technologies, operating models, or ways of working (e.g. agile, hybrid)
  • Lead teams in the design and delivery of culture change programmes, bringing expertise in behaviour change, assessment tools, and user adoption
