Our Advisors Client Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard’s rich data assets and in-house technologies to provide our clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Mastercard Advisors work with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and finance. The Advisors Client Services group has five specializations: Performance Analytics, Strategy & Transformation, Business Experimentation, Marketing and Project Management. Our Performance Analytics consultants use AI, Machine learning and BI platforms, develop cutting edge insights and products for our clients using Mastercard, customer & 3rd party data assets. Apply qualitative and quantitative techniques on our enterprise applications (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, NiFi, Python, Impala, and more) to deliver solutions and products that creates business impact. Get hands-on to design, implement & scale analytical solutions for customers across industries.
Job Responsibility
Lead client engagements across a range of industries and problem statements
Develop analytics strategies and programs for large, regional and global clients by leveraging data and technology solutions to unlock client value
Own key relationships with mid-level to senior client stakeholders and independently assess client agenda, internal culture, and change readiness
Lead team to creative insights and sound business recommendations, and deliver impactful client presentations while growing team members’ roles and skills
Provide analytical and day-to-day project delivery team leadership, and create a collaborative and inclusive environment for all levels
Collaborate with internal Mastercard stakeholders including Product and Business Development to scope projects, create relevant solutions for clients, and build the firm's intellectual capital
Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentorship to junior consultants
Requirements
Undergraduate degree with data and analytics experience working on business intelligence and/or descriptive, predictive, or prescriptive analytics projects
Experience managing clients or internal stakeholders
Ability to analyze large datasets and synthesize key findings
Proficiency using data analytics software (e.g., Python, R, SQL, SAS)
Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Able to communicate effectively in English and the local office language
Eligible to work in the country where they are applying and for travel visas as required by travel needs
Nice to have
Experience building, managing, and maintaining database structures
Additional data and analytics experience: Hadoop framework and coding using Impala, Hive, or Psypark
Experience generating new knowledge or creating innovative solutions for a firm
Relevant industry expertise
Master’s degree with relevant specialization such as advanced analytics, big data, or mathematical discipline (not required)
