Job Description

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a skilled Managerial Accountant Consultant with extensive expertise in Oracle NetSuite, particularly within the Accounts Payable (AP) module. This contract position offers the opportunity to lead a 3–4 month remote implementation project for a retail-focused organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to execute full-cycle NetSuite implementations and transform AP processes to align with business needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee the complete implementation of the Oracle NetSuite Accounts Payable (AP) module for a global office, including configuration, process mapping, user training and post-go-live support
  • Analyze and migrate existing AP workflows and data from a legacy system to NetSuite
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to align AP functions with organizational goals
  • Develop and manage project plans, ensuring deliverables and timelines are met within the defined scope
  • Identify and recommend best practices for optimizing retail-specific AP operations
  • Provide comprehensive training and documentation to support end-users and stakeholders
  • Facilitate post-go-live support to address any operational challenges and ensure seamless integration
  • Conduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure the accuracy of migrated financial information
  • Drive process improvements and efficiency in AP workflows tailored to the retail sector

Requirements

  • Extensive experience implementing Oracle NetSuite, with a focus on the Accounts Payable module, preferably in a retail environment
  • Proven managerial accounting expertise, including oversight of AP and related financial operations
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and lead organizational change during system rollouts
  • Experience migrating data from non-integrated systems into NetSuite, including validation and reconciliation
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering results within fixed timelines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Familiarity with retail accounting practices and requirements
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote contract role
