Job Responsibility

  • Lead a team of investigators
  • Establish and maintain investigation approaches, methods, and tools
  • Ensure updates to investigation methods and report writing in line with the latest legislative changes related to workplace harassment and violence
  • Collaborate with the Vice President in developing the strategic plan for the workplace investigation team
  • Handle complaints with diligence, fairness, and objectivity
  • Determine intervention strategies and conduct investigations of all scopes, meet with witnesses, complainants, and respondents, and analyze documentation that may sometimes be complex
  • Prepare detailed reports and executive summaries and present findings to committees and individuals involved in the case
  • Understand complex issues in varied environments and quickly grasp workplace-related challenges
  • Deliver training on various topics related to workplace issues and be able to simplify and clearly explain the subjects covered

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in labor relations, labor law, or a related field
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a similar role combined with five (5) years of experience in a managerial position
  • Knowledge and experience in conducting workplace investigations
  • Knowledge and experience in writing investigation reports
  • Knowledge and experience related to workplace harassment and violence
  • Training in investigation techniques
  • Training related to workplace harassment and violence
  • Full bilingual proficiency (French and English)

Nice to have

Experience in data analysis, root cause analysis, and forensic auditing would be an asset
