Job Responsibility:
Lead a team of investigators
Establish and maintain investigation approaches, methods, and tools
Ensure updates to investigation methods and report writing in line with the latest legislative changes related to workplace harassment and violence
Collaborate with the Vice President in developing the strategic plan for the workplace investigation team
Handle complaints with diligence, fairness, and objectivity
Determine intervention strategies and conduct investigations of all scopes, meet with witnesses, complainants, and respondents, and analyze documentation that may sometimes be complex
Prepare detailed reports and executive summaries and present findings to committees and individuals involved in the case
Understand complex issues in varied environments and quickly grasp workplace-related challenges
Deliver training on various topics related to workplace issues and be able to simplify and clearly explain the subjects covered
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in labor relations, labor law, or a related field
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a similar role combined with five (5) years of experience in a managerial position
Knowledge and experience in conducting workplace investigations
Knowledge and experience in writing investigation reports
Knowledge and experience related to workplace harassment and violence
Training in investigation techniques
Training related to workplace harassment and violence
Full bilingual proficiency (French and English)
Nice to have:
Experience in data analysis, root cause analysis, and forensic auditing would be an asset
