At Scale, we develop reliable AI systems for the world’s most important decisions. The Brand Experience manages all aspects of Scale’s brand, including the company’s front door scale.com. It’s often a prospect's first real experience with our brand and what we build. The Web Experience Manager will lead our small team of developers and designers, and take full ownership of the strategy, operations, and quality of our digital presence. This role sits at the intersections of brand, engineering, marketing, and design.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the Team: Own the web roadmap by maintaining, prioritizing, and communicating clearly
Manage and develop a lean team of web developers and designers
Serve as the connection point between the web team and cross-functional partners
Own Quality & Reliability: Own the quality of everything that ships by building the testing and review framework
Design and run the planning around urgent issues
set clear response-time SLAs
Build the systems to keep marketing sites secure, performant, and compliant 24/7
Lead post-mortems after incidents
Manage Our Stack: Oversee Scale's integrations on web properties by monitoring for performance, output quality, and consistency
Manage relationships with web vendors, internal security, and IT teams
Regularly audit the AI tooling to ensure we're using the best tools efficiently
Requirements:
4+ years in web management, digital operations, or a related field, including direct people management
Technical fluency: comfortable in conversations about architecture, deployment pipelines, or front-end frameworks
Experience managing AI integrations or APIs: genuine curiosity about how the underlying models work
Operational instinct: keep clean documentation, run tight sprint cycles, and treat QA as a feature
