The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping of medical equipment and supplies. This role ensures safety, compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency while supporting production and business needs.
Job Responsibility:
Lead day‑to‑day warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of materials
Maintain accurate inventory levels, oversee replenishment, and partner with Purchasing and Logistics to prevent shortages
Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, FDA, and Baxter quality and regulatory requirements
Supervise, train, coach, and develop warehouse staff
ensure proper certification for equipment use
Manage warehouse budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost‑saving opportunities
Maintain organized, audit‑ready warehouse conditions aligned with 6S standards
Operate and oversee use of PIT equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, man lifts) as needed
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Production, Logistics, Quality, HR, Finance, and other partners
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Minimum 5–7 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in a medical device or regulated environment
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency with WMS, ERP, and warehouse technology systems
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
PIT Operator License (OSHA 1910.178)
Certified PIT Trainer (“Train the Trainer”)
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and repetitive tasks
Ability to climb ladders/step stools and work in temperature‑controlled or cleanroom environments
Use of PPE required (gloves, safety shoes, glasses, safety vest)
Nice to have:
Certified Warehouse Manager (CWM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) preferred
Completion of warehouse management or industry‑specific training programs (e.g., CWM, MDWMA)
