Requirements

6–8 years of experience in content distribution, media partnerships, or digital marketing — ideally within horseracing, sports, entertainment, or media industries
Strong network and understanding of Canadian media landscape

Job Responsibility

Develop and execute Woodbine’s content distribution strategy across owned, earned, and paid media channels
Identify and build relationships with media outlets, sports networks, digital publishers, influencers, and content aggregators to expand content reach and brand visibility
Target distinct audience segments (ie. core racing and wagering fans, casual sports betting audiences, lifestyle consumers) by tailoring content development and distribution strategies to reach the right people, in the right place, at the right time
Negotiate and manage content partnerships — including syndication, licensing, and co-publishing opportunities
Collaborate closely with internal teams (Content Production, Creative, and Communications) to align storytelling and ensure content is optimized for external audiences
Monitor and report on distribution performance, using analytics and audience insights to refine strategies and maximize impact
Stay on top of emerging media trends, platforms, and distribution technologies to keep Woodbine’s content strategy innovative and competitive
Support the promotion of live events and marquee races by coordinating with broadcast and streaming partners for content placement and amplification
