Job Description

Bilt is looking for a Manager, Video Production to lead production across our product education and growth marketing video content. This person will serve as the operational backbone of our video output - bringing structure, clarity, and consistency to a high volume of live-action shoots that showcase our evolving product and brand. You’ll partner closely with product marketing, growth, and brand teams to translate creative ideas into executable production plans. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves building process, and knows how to make complex shoots feel seamless from kickoff to wrap.

Job Responsibility

  • Own Pre-Production & Planning
  • Lead the end-to-end pre-production process including schedules, shot lists, call sheets, budgets, and timelines
  • Manage intake and prioritization of video requests across teams, setting clear expectations and realistic delivery timelines
  • Translate creative briefs into actionable production plans, proactively identifying risks and production needs
  • Lead Production Logistics
  • Coordinate all shoot logistics including locations, crew, equipment, talent, permits, and vendor relationships
  • Serve as the primary point of contact on set, keeping productions on schedule and troubleshooting in real time
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with freelance crews, studios, and production vendors in NYC and other key markets
  • Drive Process & Operational Excellence
  • Develop and refine production workflows, templates, and documentation to support scaling video output
  • Track budgets and manage spend across projects, flagging issues proactively
  • Anticipate challenges and create contingency plans for weather, talent availability, and shifting scope

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in video production, ideally with a film, production company, or agency background
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail—you’re comfortable living in spreadsheets, timelines, and call sheets
  • Experience managing freelancers, vendors, and external production partners
  • Calm under pressure with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Based in NYC with strong knowledge of local production resources (crew, rentals, locations, etc.)

Nice to have

  • Experience producing product marketing, performance/growth advertising, or educational/documentary-style content
  • Familiarity with fintech, technology, or startup environments
  • Experience collaborating with in-house creative teams and cross-functional stakeholders
