Job Description:

Strategically lead and manage the comprehensive Trauma Services program, ensuring optimal patient outcomes, continuous quality improvement, and adherence to all trauma center designation requirements. Oversee trauma operations, clinical care coordination, and administrative functions across departments. Manage trauma data for performance improvement, ensure compliance with ACS verification and regulations, and develop trauma policies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develops, implements, and maintains a coordinated system for trauma care
  • Rounds on Trauma Service patients daily and collaborates with multiple disciplines regarding issues and concerns
  • Oversees, coordinates and works closely with the following functions
  • Trauma Performance Improvement, Trauma Registry, Education, Outreach, Care Coordination
  • Communication and collaboration with TMD, Associate TMD, Trauma attendings, Trauma residents and advance practice providers to maintain daily trauma program operations and quality initiatives
  • Oversight of trauma registry data collection and development of processes
  • Design registry to facilitate planning, implementation, performance improvement, and quality metrics

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Of Nursing or other healthcare related field and 3 years of experience in related field., upon hire
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Registered Nurse: AZ, upon hire

Nice to have:

  • Masters Other or other healthcare related field and Prior work experience at an ACS verifiedtrauma center, upon hire
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course, upon hire
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support, upon hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire
