Job Description:

Manager role in Transaction Risk Management within HSBC Global Trade Solutions, responsible for risk control and management of portfolio for product risk emerging from working capital financing solutions. The role involves proactive review of accounts/structures, evaluating transactional level risks, and conducting portfolio reviews as part of the first line of defense risk function.

Job Responsibility:

Contribute to conducting risk monitoring process based on written process notes
Provide summaries for annual facility renewals on account conduct and outliers
Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and escalate transactions
Conduct valuations and publication of valuation checks
Participate in regional, global and local initiatives and projects related to risk management
Prepare management information report using excel/data preparation tools
Finding continuous process efficiencies while maintaining quality outputs

Requirements:

Related experience in trade finance division in banks is highly preferred
Moderate to advance knowledge of trade finance and working capital products
Comfortable with data management including collecting, organizing, summarizing big datasets into understandable business summary
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to independently drive initiative and delivery within tight deadlines
Collaborative approach to influence colleagues by active listening, consulting and coaching
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new procedures
Graduation degree is a must to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
