Job Responsibility:
Grow profitable base and vertical sales, as well as acquiring new business
Own customer relationships and drive additional points of distribution through targeted category reviews, promotions, and new item innovation
Be the first point of contact for their customer base and will work cross functionally to provide support and timely customer centric resolutions
Requirements:
Ownership of all assigned account activity and customer relationships
Exhibits a proactive and assertive sales approach to urgently grow sales and profitability
Build strong relationships with customers and work to understand their business to develop and deploy strategic selling initiatives
Sell a productive portfolio to ensure our customers have an optimal product mix
Lead conversations around promotional programs and capture extra performance dollars
Identify and open new accounts while expanding existing accounts through strategic vertical sales projects
Execute KeHE marketing programs and store level services (order-writing as needed)
Educate customers and provide access to new items and build relevant and timely programs
Monitor and assist all accounts receivables activities
Fiscal ownership and management of sales, credits, expenses, merchandising hours, drop size, and extra performance activities
Communicate and collaborate within a team-focused environment
Ability to forecast current, new, and promotional item demand
Attend trades shows, meetings, and trainings as assigned
Proven track record to proactively recognize and pursue business development opportunities
