This role sits within Mastercard’s Product Development organization as part of the API Developer Experience capability. The mission of the role is to dogfood Mastercard APIs and developer platforms by overseeing realistic, end‑to‑end integrations executed by a development team, evaluating products exactly as external customers would experience them. The team improves Mastercard products by building authentic customer simulations and running real‑world API implementations that mirror how issuers, fintechs, merchants, acquirers, and partners integrate Mastercard services. The role works across a broad portfolio of Mastercard products, with a strong focus on Services and Open Banking / Open Finance, while also supporting core payments, digital products (e.g., Click to Pay), and other API‑driven platforms. With a global remit and high visibility across Product and Technology, this role sits at the intersection of technology, product, and customer experience, translating hands‑on integration findings into clear, actionable insights that drive measurable improvements across Mastercard’s ecosystem. Success in this role is defined by materially improving the ease, speed, and quality of developer integrations through disciplined dogfooding and evidence‑based recommendations.
Job Responsibility:

Influence internal stakeholders across Product, Technology, and Delivery to drive customer‑focused improvements based on real integration evidence
Present findings and recommendations to cross‑functional teams and senior / executive‑level stakeholders
Track the adoption and impact of recommendations to ensure feedback translates into meaningful product improvements
