Job Description:

The Manager of Supply Planning - Amazon will oversee all aspects of ILIA Beauty’s Amazon FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) business, ensuring operational efficiency, optimal inventory health, and seamless fulfillment performance. This leader will serve as the bridge between Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Digital, Sales, Operations, and Amazon account management, owning the strategy and execution for inventory replenishment and fulfillment operations to drive revenue growth and operational excellence across Amazon channels. As in-house Amazon management is new to ILIA, this role is expected to provide advanced expertise in Amazon fulfillment and inventory strategy and execution. They will play a critical role in onboarding Amazon FBA in the U.S. as well as future markets. This role requires blended experience with integrated tech stacks, Amazon best practices, and fulfillment, inventory management, and consignment processes. This is a unique opportunity to have a major impact on the future evolution of the ILIA brand.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the end-to-end operational management of ILIA Beauty’s Amazon FBA business, including inventory planning, forecasting, allocation, and replenishment
  • Execute day-to-day processes for physical shipments & systematic inventory, sales order, and invoice transactions
  • Manage inventory flow between ILIA’s distribution centers and Amazon fulfillment centers, ensuring appropriate stock levels to meet demand while minimizing excess and obsolescence
  • Monitor and optimize FBA performance metrics (e.g., in-stock rates, IPI score, sell-through, and storage utilization)
  • Partner closely with the Supply Planning and Demand Planning teams to align forecasts and ensure continuity of supply
  • Develop and maintain strong processes for Amazon PO management, order fulfillment, and shipment tracking
  • Troubleshoot operational issues, including shortages, delays, or compliance errors, working cross-functionally to resolve root causes
  • Manage all chargeback reporting & mitigation strategy
  • Implement process improvements to enhance service levels, reduce costs, and improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that support scalability as ILIA’s Amazon business grows
  • Partner with the E-commerce, Sales, and Finance teams to support growth goals and product launches on Amazon
  • Collaborate with 3PL providers and logistics partners to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
  • Serve as the key liaison between ILIA and Amazon’s operations contacts, ensuring compliance with Amazon requirements and SLAs
  • Own performance reporting and analytics for Amazon operations, including forecast accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory KPIs
  • Provide insights to drive decision-making around inventory investments, promotions, and new product introductions
  • Track key metrics and provide regular updates to senior leadership

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or Fulfillment, with at least 2 years managing Amazon FBA
  • Proven experience in inventory planning, forecasting, consignment, and logistics management for consumer products
  • Deep understanding of Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central, and FBA operational workflows
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strategic thinker with a bias toward action, resource optimization, and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience working with the following systems and tools: Integration tools (e.g. Celigo, Pipe17)
  • RPA tools (e.g. Parabola, Google Scripts)
  • Demand Planning tools (e.g. NetStock)
  • EDI systems (e.g. Crstl, SPS, Orderful)
  • ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics 365)
  • 3PL OMS/WMS
  • Analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, Omni) – Advanced Excel skills required
