DoorDash is revolutionizing the delivery experience for merchants and customers by offering the next generation of fulfillment services. We’re looking for someone to join the Commerce Platform New Verticals team to rapidly scale our next big bet. The Manager, Commerce Platform Strategy & Operations will build the roadmap for how our product stands apart in the market. You will call the shots on how we distinguish our service experience against our competitors and drive growth within our partnership portfolio.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a team of ICs on high visibility, cross-functional projects to address our most unique and challenging questions
  • Develop the product strategy to grow a high-potential offering within a high-growth business, with a focus on Merchant and Customer Experience
  • Build hands-on the processes, tools, and connections to achieve that growth
  • Get to the lowest level of detail
  • Have a deep understanding of how our business operates, and use that to scale
  • Collaborate with Merchants and across Product, Business Development, Operations, Engineering, and more to build out the next differentiated product offering
  • Analyze complex data sets paired with partner team feedback to provide insights and recommendations to our leadership
  • Propose new service offerings, build business cases, design implementation strategies, scale new services across the network, and drive adoption
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, and business development

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience
  • Experience in consulting, strategy & operations, or product management at a tech, retail/ecom, or logistics company
  • Experience in a complex or high-growth environment required
  • MBA preferred
  • Experience managing a team
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Able to take ownership of ambiguous opportunities and build structured product and service strategies from scratch
  • Comfortable identifying gaps in the market, dreaming up creative solutions, and turning ambitious ideas into operational reality
  • Talent for summarizing complex problems and translating high-level goals into actionable plans
  • Resourceful and can engage other teams and resources to independently figure out answers to nebulous questions
  • Oscillates easily from strategic considerations to tactical execution
