Job Description

The Manager – Strategic Sourcing will be a key part of the strategic sourcing and supply chain processes for Global Gaming and On-Board Media across all Carnival Corporation & plc. This individual will play an integral part in identifying, developing, and executing strategic sourcing initiatives for these categories. The role is responsible for leading sourcing projects from cradle to grave: Developing sourcing strategies aligned with business requirements, building effective relationships with functional stakeholders, strategically sourcing and negotiating contracts with suppliers, developing supplier performance assessment foundation.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with Corporate Leadership to develop the sourcing and procurement strategies for on board media and global gaming
  • Partner with stakeholders to effectively leverage scale, simplify the supplier base, reduce total cost of ownership, improve guest and crew satisfaction
  • Execute category strategies following Carnival’s strategic sourcing processes
  • Provide a significant positive financial impact by optimizing commercial terms through negotiations
  • Help improve tactical procurement processes
  • Leverage market and supplier risk analysis to anticipate its impact across the business
  • Delivers results to Performance Goals including but not limited to hard savings, cost avoidance, supplier diversity and sustainability

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Engineering
  • 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing & supply chain
  • Strong experience in sourcing methodologies, strategy creation and execution

  • Robust Excel and Powerpoint skills
