Job Description:

As part of the Strategic Finance team, you will help scale the financial reporting, analytics, and planning capabilities and empower decision-makers across our different businesses and functions. You will play a key role in all aspects of financial reporting and make significant contributions to high-profile strategic and operational initiatives. Your work and the insights you create will drive real-time business decisions and help Uber continue to grow, scale, and become more profitable, while also creating more opportunities for the many thousands of couriers, restaurants, and drivers that use our platform daily. As part of the US&C Delivery Finance team, you will be responsible for capital allocation and consolidation across the Restaurants Delivery Business in US and Canada. You will also lead key projects for the portfolio spanning BD partnerships, key strategic initiatives and RGM priorities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Financial Strategy and Planning: Serve as the consolidation lead for US&C Delivery – driving forecasting, budgeting, and performance management aligned to the RGMs balanced scorecard of growth, profitability and service excellence.
  • Partner with Business Leadership: Work directly with the S&P lead, DLT, and Central Ops leadership teams (e.g., RGM US&C, Regional GMs) to guide investment decisions, manage the P&L, and ensure efficient deployment of capital.
  • Provide Data-Driven Insights: Connect financial outcomes to operational performance, competitive dynamics, and market trends to influence executive decision-making.
  • Drive Organizational Efficiency: Evolve planning, forecasting, and reporting processes to meet the needs of a complex, fast-scaling business while maintaining financial rigor.
  • Lead Special Projects / Partner with BD: Support new initiatives, strategic transactions, and partnerships that advance the Delivery portfolio (Marketplace Delivery, Advertising, Membership).
  • Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Ops, S&P, Accounting, Tax and Stratfin to ensure alignment between strategy, compliance, and execution.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant subject
  • 6+ years of proven experience
  • Experience with Excel/Google Sheets
  • Prior financial and/or analytical experience, including FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or operations
