Job Description:

The Mastercard Move / Transfer Solutions team is seeking a Specialist Sales Manager to drive the commercialization and growth of Mastercard Move solutions across Northern Europe. The role focuses on originating and progressing sales opportunities, supporting client engagements, and translating strategic priorities into tangible revenue outcomes. Working closely with product and client coverage teams, the role supports go-to-market execution and accelerates adoption across priority markets and segments. Mastercard Transfer Solutions are central to Mastercard’s real-time and near real-time payments strategy, enabling secure domestic and cross-border money movement for businesses, financial institutions, governments, fintech's, and digital platforms through card- and account-based payment flows. The Northern Europe remit covers the Netherlands, Nordics, Baltics, and Iceland.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive sales execution and pipeline development for Mastercard Move solutions across assigned Northern Europe markets and clients
  • Support go to market initiatives, including client targeting, value proposition positioning, and sales campaigns
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Mastercard Move solutions, providing product knowledge and solution support to client coverage and sales teams
  • Partner closely with regional product, global Move, and network partner teams to align client feedback with product evolution and market needs
  • Support client pitches, RFP responses, commercial discussions, and deal structuring in close collaboration with the Director, Specialist Sales
  • Identify opportunity gaps, competitive dynamics, and client needs to inform local sales strategies
  • Contribute to pipeline reporting, forecasting, and execution discipline across the region
  • Support enablement activities, including internal sales training and knowledge sharing across markets
  • Ensure strong coordination across stakeholders to drive seamless end to end client execution

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales, business development, or solution consulting within payments, transaction banking, fintech, or related financial services
  • Demonstrated ability to support and close complex sales opportunities across multiple markets or client segments
  • Strong understanding of payment flows, cross border transactions, and money movement solutions (knowledge of FX dynamics is a plus)
  • Ability to translate strategy into execution and manage multiple initiatives in parallel
  • Comfortable engaging with internal stakeholders and external clients at different levels
  • Consultative mindset with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven team player with the ability to operate in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • advanced degree is a plus
  • Professional level English is required
