Reporting to the Associate Director of Engineering, Complex Care, you will lead a team responsible in building the tools and workflows that power Spring Health’s workplace mental health services, ranging from employee support and manager consultations to crisis response and return-to-work guidance. You’ll partner with product, design, clinical leaders, data science, and AI/ML platform teams to create safe, measurable, and delightful end-to-end care experiences for members, providers and employer partners.
Job Responsibility:
Owning development and delivery of Workplace Care improvements
Managing a thriving team of engineers

Ensure operational excellence: SLOs/SLIs, on-call and incident management, observability, tech debt management, and developer experience
Drive execution across teams and organizations, aligning initiatives with broader clinical and strategic priorities
Requirements:
At least 2 years experience as an engineering manager (manager of individual engineers)
At least 5 years of experience with Ruby, Rails, React, TypeScript and/or Flutter
Track record of data fluency and objective measures of impact
Track record of proactive and collaborative leadership style
Track record of strong talent management and team health success
