Job Description

We are seeking a Manager, Software Development, to lead the evolution of Bentley’s Civil Engineering software portfolio. In this role, you will manage a globally distributed team of developers and oversee day-to-day operations, driving technical excellence, organizational transformation, and strategic impact. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to implement processes, guide engineering investment decisions, and deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.

  • Recruit, coach, and develop high-performing engineering talent

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience with 3+ years of technical experience
  • Proven leadership experience managing globally distributed software teams with 2+ years of experience
  • Strong communication, strategic thinking, and collaborative leadership skills
  • High intellectual curiosity and adaptability to evolving tools, technologies, and industry trends
  • A coaching-oriented mindset with a passion for team and individual development
