Job Description:

Manager role overseeing Home & Living services in Townsville, guiding passionate teams to deliver exceptional, person-centered support for people with disabilities. Opportunity to lead with purpose and drive meaningful change in disability support services.

Job Responsibility:

Team leadership and management of dedicated team to deliver high-quality disability services
Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring and development opportunities for team
Take ownership of key management responsibilities including budgets, rosters and team performance
Champion human rights-based, person-centred practices
Navigate and lead multiple systems ensuring effective coordination and communication

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in a middle management role
Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, ideally in the disability services sector
Relevant tertiary qualifications such as Diploma in Individual Support, Cert IV in Individual Support/Business Management or equivalent
Strong passion for human rights and outstanding customer service
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to mentor, coach and develop high-performing teams
Leadership with empathy, compassion and deep understanding of diverse perspectives
Excel in team collaboration

Nice to have:

Experience in disability services sector
Leadership experience in human rights-based services
