Play a critical role in shaping Airwallex’s financial trajectory and influencing strategic decisions across the company. This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of strategy, finance, and execution. You will work closely with senior leaders to evaluate opportunities, track performance, and ensure capital and resources are allocated to the areas that matter most.
Job Responsibility:
Build and maintain robust financial models, forecasts, and budgets
Partner with business leaders to evaluate the financial feasibility and strategic implications of key initiatives
Analyse business performance to identify drivers, surface issues, and drive actions
Evaluate capital deployment across teams and initiatives
Shape and communicate the company’s financial narrative through materials for investor updates, board presentations, and internal leadership reviews
Support capital markets readiness
Provide financial and strategic support on high-impact, cross-functional projects
Improve internal finance processes, reporting, and tools
Requirements:
Minimally a Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
Min 6 years of experience across strategic finance, management consulting, investment banking, or revenue strategy roles
Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Excellent communication skills
Proven ability to take ownership and drive end-to-end execution
Strong commercial judgment and a clear understanding of how businesses grow and scale
Nice to have:
Experience in high-growth environments, ideally within the Technology space
Have worked in top-tier management consulting, investment banking, or private equity firms
Familiarity with SQL, business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau), and/or working with large, complex datasets across functions and regions
