Job Description:

The Manager, Security Technology, leads the technical support and project management of advanced alarm programming and network communication systems. This role involves resolving complex security challenges, developing analytics to enhance operational efficiency, and managing security projects from planning through execution. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders to ensure compliance, resource allocation, and continuous improvement. Additionally, the manager fosters team development through coaching and mentoring while upholding company values and ethical standards. This role is critical in driving security strategy and delivering reliable solutions that support business objectives and safeguard assets.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and oversee technical support for advanced alarm programming and network communication devices, resolving complex issues efficiently
  • Develop and implement analytics to enhance security project effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
  • Interpret and modify blueprints and specifications, coordinating project plans with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead procurement and resource allocation for construction and equipment, maintaining accurate contractor and regulatory documentation
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop associates, fostering accountability and continuous learning within the team
  • Promote adherence to company policies, ethics, and standards while supporting business goals and customer needs

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience managing security technology projects, including fire alarm systems and intrusion detection solutions
  • Proven ability to provide advanced technical support and resolve complex alarm communication and network device issues
  • Strong skills in developing and implementing security strategies and analytics to improve operational efficiency
  • Demonstrated expertise in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing resources to meet project goals
  • Effective communication skills to engage stakeholders and present technical information clearly
  • Leadership experience in mentoring, training, and developing associates within a security management environment
  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Business, or related field and 2 years’ experience in security systems, electronics, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in security systems, electronics, or related area
