We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Technical Manager with operational experience to lead the implementation and delivery of Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to drive operational efficiency within Salesforce projects.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams, ensuring best practices and standards are followed in Salesforce architecture, design, and implementation
Oversee relationships with Salesforce vendors and third-party partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring service levels are met. Manage vendor performance and resolve any issues promptly
Contribute to the strategic planning of Salesforce initiatives, aligning project goals with organizational objectives. Identify opportunities for leveraging Salesforce technology to achieve business growth
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define project objectives, and communicate project status, risks, and issues
Leverage operational experience to streamline processes within Salesforce projects, identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement
Build and manage a high-performing team of Salesforce developers, administrators, and analysts. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities
Implement quality control measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. Conduct code reviews and oversee testing activities
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed
Facilitate change management activities to ensure successful adoption of Salesforce solutions across the organization
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
12+ years of experience in Salesforce implementation and delivery, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role
Strong technical expertise in Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom development
Proven experience in project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
Operational experience in overseeing Salesforce-related processes and identifying areas for improvement
Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect are preferred
Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD in Salesforce environments
Knowledge of integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica) and patterns
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience
6+ years of directly-related or relevant experience, preferably in IT project management or IT delivery
