Carex is partnering with a mission driven healthtech partner within the healthcare navigation space to find a detail-oriented and strategic Manager, Sales Operations to lead and own the quote-to-order process for new business, renewals, and expansions. This role plays a key part in enabling clean, compliant, and scalable bookings by collaborating across Sales, Renewals, Finance, Legal, Product, and more. The ideal candidate will thrive in fast-paced environments, have a strong grasp of commercial terms and approval governance, and bring a proactive mindset to improving deal velocity and operational rigor. This is a remote employee but candidates should reside in WI or Chicago, IL area.
Job Responsibility:
Own the quote-to-order process for new business, renewals, and expansions, ensuring all agreements are revenue-ready and accurately maintained in Salesforce
Advise Sales and Renewal Managers on commercial terms, reviewing and routing non-standard requests across cross-functional stakeholders
Coordinate with internal and external counsel to manage contract redlines and ensure timely legal resolutions
Maintain approval matrices, document exceptions, and enforce pricing/discount policy adherence
Manage contract workflow, including MSA, SOW, BAA/DPA, COI/W-9, and related municipal forms, ensuring clean hand-offs to Billing and Customer Success
Own the full RFP/RFI/RFQ response process, from intake to submission and archiving, ensuring compliant and timely delivery
Enhance and maintain clause libraries, approval templates, and response libraries
Identify friction points in the quote-to-cash process and implement process improvements and tooling upgrades across CRM/CPQ/CLM/e-signature systems
Drive analytics and publish dashboards on deal cycle time, discounting, ACV/TCV, exception rates, and retention metrics
Lead enablement initiatives for Sales and Renewals teams around deal desk processes and tools
Engage professionally with city and municipal leaders, including chiefs, city managers, finance, HR, and legal counterparts
Requirements:
4–7+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Contracts, or Revenue Finance supporting complex B2B or public-sector deals
or 1–2+ years post-MBA
Strong understanding of commercial terms (pricing, liability, indemnities, SLAs, data/privacy) and deal governance frameworks
Proven experience managing contract negotiations with internal and external counsel
High proficiency in Salesforce
experience with CPQ, CLM, and e-signature tools (e.g., DocuSign) strongly preferred
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially with senior municipal decision-makers and legal teams
Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy and Salesforce hygiene
