Job Description:

Hang Seng's Commercial Banking business provides customized one-stop financial solutions to our corporate customers, from prime small and medium-sized businesses to publicly listed companies. For customers conducting business locally or around the world, we offer a comprehensive range of services including corporate lending, trade solutions, structured loan, cash management, investment, treasury services, insurance and e-Banking services. As a reliable financial partner, we attend to the specific business needs of our customers and provide efficient tailor-made banking solutions through our relationship managers and dedicated specialists.

Job Responsibility:

Establishing new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of clients
Communicating new products, propositions and relevant market information to clients
Proactively identifying sales opportunities and developing these opportunities
Devising plans and strategies to increase revenue for existing clients to achieve asset growth, sales or revenue targets
Collaborating with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship mangers and product specialists, to maximise cross-selling opportunities for the Bank
Participating in events, initiatives and activities to develop business opportunities
Developing and implementing distribution channel business development strategies
Protecting the bank's reputation and ensuring an acceptable risk profile whilst deepening the understanding of the client through credit and customer due diligence reviews

Requirements:

University graduate in related disciplines or other relevant qualifications
Proven experience in corporate lending or trade finance
Strong customer service orientation and analytical ability, with good communication and interpersonal skills
Resilient, capable to work responsibly in a dynamic environment
Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage
High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage

Nice to have:

Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB)
Fluency in Putonghua
