Our Sales Development organization is the engine behind Intercom’s growth, both as a revenue driver and a talent pipeline. We identify and engage prospects across small business, mid-market, and enterprise segments, guiding them through the earliest stages of the sales journey. Beyond pipeline creation, the team also serves as a launchpad for future careers across our Go-to-Market organization.
Job Responsibility:
Building and managing a high-performing group of outbound and inbound professionals
Hiring, onboarding, and coaching SDRs
Establishing repeatable processes that generate high-quality pipeline and revenue
Fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Working closely with sales executives, marketing, and operations to craft and execute tailored strategies
Taking a data-centric approach to decision-making to ensure accurate forecasting, effective team management, and a healthy pipeline
Requirements:
At least 2 years of people management experience in the SaaS industry (preferred)
Strong team management skills with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams
2+ years of B2B software sales experience with a proven track record of consistently achieving quota
Experience leading inbound and outbound teams who strategically engage with potential customers using a personalized, multi-channel approach centered on value
Strong analytical skills to interpret metrics and uncover insights that inform strategy
A natural mentor and coach with a focus on developing others
Experience managing complex internal ecosystems and building strong partnerships across teams
