Lead and support a team of highly motivated and ambitious Sales Development Representatives during a period of rapid-growth at Vanta. These SDRs will be focused on the VMB, SMB and Enterprise segments of our NAMER business. You’ll be integral in shaping our sales organization as we continue to scale, move up market, and distinguish Vanta as best-in-class to prospects in our rapidly growing category of security automation.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and mentor a growing team of high performing Sales Development Representatives
Evolve Vanta’s prospecting playbook by developing and implementing new prospecting initiatives and strategies
Grow the Sales Development team through active involvement in recruitment, on-boarding and training
Create and establish strategic prospecting training, conduct weekly forecasting meetings, and mentor direct reports
Help to continually foster an inclusive Sales organization representing Vanta’s culture and values
Ensure development plans are in place and adapted to each individual
Collaborate cross functionally to drive better outcomes for Vanta’s prospects within NAMER
Partner with sales leadership on creating an agile organization
Requirements:
Located in San Francisco, CA and ability to commute to the office in a hybrid setting
3-5 years of sales experience
At least 2+ years of management/leadership experience
Experience in B2B SaaS sales and sales management
Experience prospecting into various market segments and personas
Stellar problem-solving abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Enjoy the challenge of making a large impact early on in a start-up environment
Possess technical competency to understand Vanta’s software
Intellectual curiosity to learn about governance, risk and compliance
Ability to build relationships with highly technical prospects
