Job Description:

Manager Risk Analysis Unit Mid Market Enterprise role supporting International Mid-Market, Corporate and Institutional Banking at HSBC. The role focuses on credit risk analysis, improving credit quality, and supporting business growth through comprehensive financial analysis and industry expertise.

Job Responsibility:

Improve credit quality and reduce potential loss to the Bank through focused and independent analysis of credit risk
Achieve quicker credit application turn-around times
Perform full credit analysis (customer/industry)
Support Relationship Managers by quickly responding to new business referrals
Identify customer/industry business opportunities while maintaining consistent conservative credit culture
Develop industry & sectoral specialization
Identify trends of the business and bankable names for long-term relationship development

Requirements:

Moderate length credit and operating risk analysis skills in corporate banking fields
Good credit risk skills and good knowledge of corporate banking, commercial lending, investments and/or trade products
Ability to interpret meaningful information from financial accounts
Good banking products knowledge, particularly credit related products
Knowledge of credit application process preferably in corporate banking
In-depth understanding of the local market, vast industry-specific knowledge, including regulatory landscape
Proven track record of managing healthy credit portfolios
Execution of solid credit analysis to support business growth and new to bank business acquisition
Execution of stress-testing and medium-to-complex cash-flow projections
Ability to maintain good quality of output under pressure condition and tight deadline
Ability to maintain a high level of intense concentration for a prolonged period
Proactive, well-developed interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills
Highly motivated and prepared to accept challenges mindset
Effective communication skills
Demonstrate high degree of integrity
