Job Description

Responsible for implementing strategic regulatory initiatives and developing and building key regulatory relationships that will enable the development of strong regulatory policy and drive regulatory successes. Works with various business partners across the Company to ensure that regulatory filings and external facing documents are in alignment with regulatory policy positioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline or related experience
  • Minimum of ten (10) or more years of experience successfully building relationships, leading change, and managing complex projects
  • Utility industry experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills to lead multiple projects
  • Experience with building key relationships (externally and internally) and building credibility with key influencers
  • Thorough understanding of the policy initiative Regulators support
  • Strong analytical skills including experience using both qualitative principals and quantitative analysis to develop regulatory policy
  • Sound business judgment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Work well across functional teams
  • Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required
  • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary
  • Travel is required
