Global Strategy and Operations (GSOP) is looking for a Manager - Regulatory Change Management (RCM) focused on ensuring program governance and compliance oversight is embedded in the day-to-day operations of our organization. It will involve extensive collaboration with multiple partners across numerous business units, functional areas, and geographies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute on the RCM Program Governance and Oversight framework, offering support and risk advice to front-line business teams regarding execution plans for changes linked to new or updated laws and regulatory mandates that affect the GMNS business
  • Provide oversight on complex, multi-market RCM efforts including consolidating views of workstream deliverables, highlighting status & risks to senior leadership and ongoing oversight around management / mitigation of RCM risks
  • Drive the ongoing enhancement of the GMNS RCM program governance framework to optimize oversight processes, tools, templates, risk assessments and training for front-line business teams, thereby strengthening risk management and supporting effective decision-making within the business unit
  • Provide quality assurance activities in the creation and review of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and controls related to regulatory change efforts, ensuring that operational documents are complete and accurate
  • Track RCM applicable metrics, KRI limits and risk appetite for GMNS to ensure operational and regulatory risks are managed within agreed thresholds and leverage these metrics to help detect concerning rises in emerging problems, then escalate and flag concerns accordingly in risk committees/forums
  • Present details of specific regulatory initiatives and risks at appropriate control forums for GMNS, interfacing with org-wide governance processes and committees (e.g., BU Risk Management Committees/Risk Forums) and share insights and lessons learned across appropriate forums

Requirements:

  • Experience in operational risk management. Understanding of critical operational risk management lifecycle activities
  • Strong project management, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in program governance, with an understanding of processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standards
  • Experience in providing governance, oversight and quality assurance for operational or risk management processes
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyse data, identify trends, and assess/evaluate risk scenarios effectively

Nice to have:

  • Experience in at least one of the following: Translating operational risk strategy and appetite into execution guidelines
  • Oversee the implementation of the operational risk governance frameworks
  • Communicating and ensuring understanding and adherence to operational risk procedures and standards
  • Experience in financial services industry, with a particular focus on regulatory adherence
