Job Responsibility
Lead the implementation and future development of CSIRO’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
Develop and lead key Indigenous policies, procedures and strategies that support RAP objectives
Lead RAP delivery and impact, including implementation planning, monitoring and reporting to senior leaders and governance groups
Lead a small team and build capability across CSIRO to deliver RAP commitments, cultural advice and stakeholder engagement
Requirements
High level cultural capability, grounded in Indigenous ways of knowing, being and doing, and developed from lived experience as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing Reconciliation Action Plan principles and practice in a large and complex organisation
Strong leadership capability, including experience leading effective teams, managing budgets and influencing strategy, policy and organisational outcomes
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and representation skills, with credibility across Indigenous communities, leaders and external partners
