Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage a team of program managers to drive the execution of key multi-million/multi-year BSA programs
  • Track and ensure for program requirements, scope, budget
  • Track and ensure for the detailed program schedules and milestones
  • Perform continuous risk management
  • Act as the face of the organization to external customers for escalation issues
  • Holds P&L oversight for assigned programs
  • Accountable for overall customer satisfaction and building strong external business relationships
  • Provides direct oversight during the negotiation, proposal and commercial impact phases for contractual change management
  • Direct work to achieve milestones per committed schedule and budget
  • Ensure proactive risk assessment and contingency management
  • Ensure timely execution and administration of programs to remain in compliance with contractual requirements
  • Establish a strong governance for weekly Program reviews
  • Coordinate with internal resources/stakeholders to remove roadblocks
  • Establish balanced customer-focused and business focused performance indices
  • Has responsibility for leadership and building a strong and inclusive team
  • Help each team members develop professionally

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in program management
  • Demonstrated responsibility in program management and execution
  • Team player with initiative and excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer-facing skills and experience
  • Ability to effectively negotiate in-line with business objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships and credibility
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively while working toward aggressive deadlines
  • Strong working knowledge of Bombardier's policies and processes
  • Strong technical knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems and special mission equipment
  • Eligible to view and handle ITAR material
  • Able to obtain a NATO Secret security clearance (as required)

Nice to have

  • Team leadership is an asset
  • Knowledge of ITAR and previous experience in government and military flight operations exposure would be considered an asset
