Manager Production - Precious Metal Process Catalysts

• Responsible for entire Precious metal process catalysts production activities
• Responsible for entire operation like all metal recovery, PMC Chemicals
• Production planning to meet the required schedule
• Meet all the requirement of QC during manufacture of catalyst thereby target zero complain
• Minimize the loss of Precious metals in operations
• Co-ordinate with marketing team
• Supervise the cleanliness of the plant
• To prepare Log Sheet for all Operation
• Maintain all phases of production activities as per ISO standards
• To adhere to Operation Manual
• To make optimum use of available manpower
• Ensure MPCB norms are followed while discharging pollutant
• To train Production Chemist in plant operation
• To work as a team and share inputs to deliver better results
• To work for water and energy conservation
• Target maximum production with minimum loss
• To look into reducing manpower by suggesting new method of operation including automation
• To minimize overtime
• Target minimum reprocessing
• To adhere and monitor that all required safety standards are followed in plant as per process requirement
• Participate in hazard identification and risk assessment
• Ensure plant pollution equipment are operational and emissions are as per prescribed standards
• Identify training requirement and coordinate with ESH function/impart training
• EMI reporting & closure of action on time
• Participate and encourage participation in various ESH activities such as training, hazard identification, plant round etc
• Prepare & discuss lesson learned documents with workforce post incidents
• Carry periodic plant inspection to ensure adherence to ESH rules and regulations
• Ensure Management of Change Procedure followed for required changes in the plant
• Lead team in case of onsite emergencies in the area of working

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in operating production activities within a chemical plant
• Proven expertise in shopfloor leadership
• Strong technical expertise
• Solid analytical skills
• Good communication & analytical skills
• Experience in effective manpower handling and team management
