Job Responsibility

  • Lead the Compute Strategy Rationalization for the entire enterprise
  • Converge and consolidate Capital One's diverse application footprint, paving the path for managed serverless compute experience
  • Define and drive the infrastructure strategy to support diverse Capital One use cases
  • Ensure the infrastructure is future-ready, organized for scale, and meets the evolving needs of the organization
  • Be the primary visionary for the Managed Infrastructure Platform (MIP)
  • Design reusable, modular primitives and contracts that scale across thousands of application patterns
  • Shift the enterprise from point-in-time provisioning pipelines to continuous, intent-based orchestration
  • Enable no-touch experience to manage cloud resources like compute, storage, databases, and networking, effectively making infrastructure invisible to the developer

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
  • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Nice to have

  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
  • Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings that successfully centralize decentralized operational workflows
  • Experience with cloud-native infrastructure, compute optimization, or large-scale fleet management
