Job Description:

Manager, Product Management - Card Core Team. The Core and Conversion team is responsible for the critical first steps of the Discover integration. In this role, you will ensure that millions of Discover customer’s Identity Theft Protection data can be transferred to Capital One without friction. This role is not just about moving data; it is about building the automated, AI-driven infrastructure that will define our future destination state.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define the Migration Strategy: Own the end-to-end roadmap for Identity Theft Protection, balancing immediate migration needs with long-term scalability
  • Solve Complex Problems: Partner with Discover and CreditWise teams to resolve technical and operational hurdles in merging legacy data sets
  • Drive AI & Automation: Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and accelerate the migration lifecycle
  • Lead Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the primary bridge between Engineering, Lines of Business, Risk, and Compliance to ensure the migration solutions are well-managed and protect the customer experience
  • Deliver Value: Translate complex compliance and technical requirements into simple, extensible solutions

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
  • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
