This person will serve as an internal consultant/strategist, dedicated to exploring high-risk/high-reward opportunities that could fundamentally change Capital One Travel and the customer experience. This Product Manager will lead the research and concept validation for entirely new product lines, inventory types, and engagement models, with a heavy focus on emerging technology like AI.
Job Responsibility:
Proactively seek out and investigate new, large-scale opportunities that have the potential to drive significant future growth for Capital One Travel
Conduct market analysis, competitive landscape assessments, and customer research to fully understand the viability of new spaces
Balance business opportunities with deep customer needs, ensuring that new product concepts solve real problems for the user
Function as an internal consultant and gaining buy-in by effectively communicating the customer value and business potential to core product and delivery teams, who are responsible for the final execution
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
