About the Team About the Engineering 360 Product Management Team Engineering 360 is a core pillar of how Capital One builds and delivers software with a focus on Capital One's rapidly growing card business. The product team is focused on building products, services and tooling to enable faster delivery of scalable, stable and well managed products. Product Managers in Engineering 360 know what it takes to deliver products at Capital One scale and are comfortable navigating technical concepts such as Site Reliability Engineering, Test Automation, Continuous Deployment and Developer IDE integrations. You will work with teams of talented engineers, product managers, data analysts, and other cross-functional team members to own and drive innovation in how Capital One builds software.
Job Responsibility:
Develops deep empathy for the developer persona and works to identify the highest return on investment pain points to solve for in the Capital One software development lifecycle, with a focus on solving for Card specific use-cases
Works horizontally across the company to build relationships, perform analysis of existing products that may solve for Card use-cases and define when new functionality should be added or built from the ground up
Drives accelerated continuous discovery process that optimizes on user adoption through outcome orientation and empowerment
Self-identifies opportunities for automation and efficiency through extraction and analysis of data from a collection of sources
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Nice to have:
Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
