This is a unique Product Management role with responsibility for improving the issuer, merchant, and partner experience at Mastercard. Generate actionable insights to improve Mastercard’s products. Be Subject Matter Expert on payments, digital wallets, card tokenization, Open Banking, and associated technologies. Provide customer-centric technical & thought leadership to Product and Delivery teams. Navigate effectively in a cross functional matrix environment across multiple organizations.
Job Responsibility:
Define requirements for internal platform used to generate detailed, actionable, customer-centric insights for improving Mastercard digital products
Represent the customer point-of-view by managing a suite of applications that simulate Mastercard’s customers
Work with internal and external partners to conduct “real-world” implementations of Mastercard APIs and services
Use various feedback methodologies to surface issues/gaps, and generate compelling solutions
Influence internal stakeholders in Product, Technology, and Delivery to drive customer-focused improvements
Requirements:
Excellent consultative skills to analyze products and processes, surface relevant insights, and recommend compelling improvements
Software engineering or solution architecture background, experience in API onboarding, implementation, and documentation
In-Depth knowledge of payments technology stack
Proven experience in payment product conceptualization, solution design/architecture and development, preferably in the financial services industry
Demonstrated proficiency in both written and spoken English
Above-average verbal and written communications skills, including ability to create compelling presentations
Comfort presenting to cross-functional and executive audiences
