The Manager, Procedural Applications reports to the Director, Perioperative, Procedural, & Enterprise Imaging Applications as part of the MUSC Associate CIO Applications team supporting MUSC’s clinical, research, and academic missions. This role provides oversight and leadership of the clinical applications team and for the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of all applications within the portfolio. This role manages the people, processes, and technology components of designated procedural applications. Areas of focus may include but not are limited to the following: Epic specialty applications (e.g., Epic Radiant, Epic Cupid), GE Centricity Cardio Enterprise (CCE), Zeiss Forum, Philips IntelliSpace Cardiovascular (ISCV), GE MacLab/CardioLab, Philips Xper, GE MUSE, GE EchoPAC, TOMTEC, Siemens Syngo Dynamics, and other similar/associated supporting applications.

Requirements
A bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, management information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience (Masters preferred)
A minimum of seven years’ experience delivering and supporting healthcare systems/applications
Ten years of experience with clinical information system support may be considered as equivalent in lieu of a bachelors’ degree
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Experience with client relations and relationship building
Ability to fact find and develop a strategy to grow teams and applications
Presentation and communication (written/verbal) skills
Nice to have
Experience with Epic with at least one Epic certification
Experience implementing and supporting DICOM, HL7, and biomedical device integrations
Intermediate/advanced knowledge and experience with high-availability Microsoft Windows Server & SQL Server architecture/management concepts and client/server best practices
Intermediate/advanced understanding of networking concepts (VPN, firewall, etc.) to inform/guide design, deployment, & troubleshooting of application and device integrations (client/server, cloud)
Knowledge and understanding of cardiology, radiology, ophthalmology, and other specialty procedure operational processes, workflows, regulatory requirements, and best practices
Demonstrated experience implementing and/or upgrading integrated complex large-scale applications in at least one healthcare system
Demonstrated large-scale project management experience, preferably in IT and/or healthcare
Experience utilizing Service Now for incident management, service catalog request fulfillment, and project/resource/capacity management
Other related certifications (e.g., CIIP, PMP certification, Six sigma, ITIL, informatics)
