Job Responsibility
Develop and implement pricing strategies for spare parts and services across the globe, leveraging a strong understanding of value-based accounting principles
Drive revenue growth and profitability
Strategic Pricing Development: Develop and implement pricing strategies for spare parts and services, aligned with company goals and objectives
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform pricing decisions and develop total cost of ownership models
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product management, to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with business objectives
Value-Based Accounting (VBA) Expertise: Apply VBA principles to drive pricing decisions, ensuring alignment with company financial goals
Develop and maintain pricing models that accurately reflect the value of spare parts and services
Analyze and interpret financial data to inform pricing decisions
Analytical and Data-Driven Insights: Develop and maintain pricing dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to identify pricing opportunities
Provide data-driven insights to inform pricing decisions and drive revenue growth
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product management, to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with business objectives
Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers
Communicate pricing strategies and results to senior leadership and other stakeholders
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes and workflows
Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
5+ years of experience in pricing, finance, or a related field
Strong understanding of value-based accounting principles and their application in pricing decisions
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and drive insights
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to present complex information to senior leadership and other stakeholders
Strong business acumen and understanding of global markets and competitors
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ability to learn new tools and technologies
Certification in pricing or finance, such as CPM or CFA preferred
Experience working in a global organization, with knowledge of international markets and competitors
Familiarity with pricing software and tools, such as pricing analytics platforms
