The Manager, Eligibility Team leads and inspires a team of eligibility professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth. This role is responsible for developing team members, driving engagement, and ensuring colleagues are equipped and motivated to deliver outstanding service to members and clients.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, coach, and mentor a diverse team to achieve high performance and professional growth
Build a positive, inclusive team culture rooted in trust, open communication, and continuous feedback
Set clear expectations and goals, provide regular performance feedback, and conduct coaching conversations and performance reviews
Manage workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development to support team and business needs
Recognize and celebrate achievements and proactively address challenges or performance gaps in a supportive, growth‑oriented manner
Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing across the team and with partner departments
Ensure adherence to organizational values, service standards, and regulatory requirements
Model and reinforce behaviors aligned with CVS Health’s purpose and values in all team interactions
Requirements:
Minimum of one year of proven experience leading and developing teams within a healthcare administration environment, preferably in a service‑oriented or operational setting
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a combination of relevant professional experience and education
Nice to have:
5+ years of experience in eligibility, benefits administration, or health plan operations
Experience building and sustaining a positive, inclusive team culture
Advanced skills in coaching, conflict resolution, and providing constructive feedback
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others
Candidates residing in the greater Plymouth area
